This role is 100% remote  and can be located anywhere in the continental US.

What You’ll Do:

 

  • As an Engineering Manager, you will work to lead a software engineering team to better serve the business.

  • You’ll be expected to build, support, and deliver results with your team in a timely manner.

  • You’ll collaborate both within Engineering and with our partner teams to find where we can best serve the business.

How You’ll Do It:

 

 

  • Lead an Engineering team that supports our ecommerce business

  • Report to the Director of Ecommerce, Engineering and partner with senior engineering leadership on strategic planning to continuously improve the engineering organization and uphold our workplace philosophy and core behaviors

  • Work with our Product, Engineering, Design, Performance Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration

  • Have a service-oriented product-qualitylity mindset while driving technical excellence across the organization. Leverage your technical expertise to constantly raise the bar and ensure your team delivers extraordinary results at the high technical level we set

  • Work closely the with product management team to ensure we’re building the best digital product

  • Be responsible for the execution and success of complex technical projects

  • Contribute and inform project planning and roadmapping

What We’re Dreaming Of:

 

  • 3+ of years management experience building and leading software engineering teams with several direct reports

  • Proven record of delivering results at the helm of an Engineering team

  • Ability to scale, build and develop a team of experienced professionals, providing career development and coaching

  • 6+ of programming experience

  • 3+ years of eCommerce experience - used to working in a fast pace environment, ready to own and deliver new features and functionality to the business. Shopify experience a major plus

  • Experience with Shopify

  • Strategic mindset - you’re comfortable thinking a few steps ahead of where the team is at now
