This role is 100% remote and can be located anywhere in the continental US
What You’ll Do
- Develop new Applications on Mendix platform supporting plant and business operations
- Assist with supporting existing MES, Mendix, AWS, Preactor and PLC applications by working with current implementation team to analyze issues and drive to a resolution
- Interpret Business requirements and formulate functional and technical specifications and validate that the design of a potential solution fits within the SSB technical architecture
- Work with Infrastructure team to maintain stable and effective digital environment
- Assist with training users on all AMS functionality and develop training documentation as needed
- Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC)
- Coordinating with customers to design and provide upgrade to systems
- Work with the application development and third-party implementation teams to ensure change management processes are being followed
- Develop and coordinate testing scenarios to validate application functionality meets the business requirements
- Maintain alignment with SSB IT Change Request process.
- Maintain 2nd level support for daily operations.

What You’ll Bring
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Systems, STEM field or equivalent experience
•5 – 10 Years in advanced manufacturing environments, this should include: Automation / Robotic environment, Workflow management systems, Inventory Management & Warehouse management systems
•Expert level knowledge of Mendix App development tools
•Knowledge and familiarity with SQL, Preactor, Amazon Web Services, GitHub and Agile
•Utilization of video display terminal and keyboard is 95% of the time.
