What You'll Do:

 

As part as the manufacturing operations recruitment team, you will be responsible to attract and hire a qualified pool of talent for hourly operations and maintenance positions within our manufacturing plants. On some occasions, we will need you to also recruit for front line supervisory positions, manufacturing and distribution facility management positions and corporate positions. The incumbent will use innovative approaches to market, recruit and hire talent for multiple plants within a predetermined geographic area. This position works closely with local plant Managers to understand workforce needs and to develop an approach to filling the pipeline with qualified individuals from diverse candidate pools.

 

Specifically you will:

 

  • Execute full-cycle recruiting and pipelining plans for plant hourly positions and other hard to fill roles

  • Drive a positive candidate experience and support Serta Simmons Bedding employment brand by being a brand ambassador (both online and offline).

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand needs and set an operating plan

  • Develop pipeline of candidates in niche areas as determined by market needs and business strategies

  • Track goals, metrics and performance of the hiring cycle; regularly communicate status and results

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times

  • Navigate various hiring teams and key stakeholders, and vary your recruiting strategies based on the geography and role requirements

  • Continuously research the hiring market and recruiting industry trends

  • Special projects

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college/university and 2+ years of high-volume recruiting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge and use of an applicant tracking system.  Success Factors highly desired!

  • Fundamental interviewing skills experience.

  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and employment regulations and policies.

  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Strong initiative and solid judgment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships both within and outside the organization.

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.

  • Must possess a high level of professionalism, discretion and ability to self-manage his/her time from remote locations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
