Essential Duties and Responsibilities

GENERAL FUNCTION

Uses forklift to unload incoming materials from trailers.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Unload items from trailers. Check quantities and item descriptions against purchasing

order. Enter receivers into computer

2. Place items in stock area. Place inventory tags on items as needed.

3. Give all paperwork to Purchaser at end of shift.

4. Maintain cleanliness of work area.

5. Perform related duties as assigned.

Functional/Technical Competencies

Strong eye, hand coordination

Attention to detail a must.

Ability to sort components in an efficient, fast-paced and accurate manner

Experience/Education

  • Previous experience in an industrial setting required
  • Production line experience helpful, but not required.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English
  • Basic Math skills are required
  • Previous sewing machine experience in an industrial setting

Job Factors/Work Environments

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, repetitively, in a safe manner This job requires operator to stand and walk.
