What You'll Do:
We're looking for a dynamic Accounts Receivable professional to join our growing team here at Serta Simmons Bedding!
The deduction analyst will reconcile customer accounts, provide account reconciliations, researching for deductions, and provide AR customer service for internal and external customers for the assigned account portfolio.
This position requires someone with a strong customer experience background who will be working closely with the cash team, credit team, sales department, customer bank team and external customers.
* This position will be full-time remote; with occasional travel to the Doraville, GA office as needed onsite.*
*The preferred candidate will live within the Atlanta area or within the East Coast *
How You'll Do It:
• Presents statements & invoice copies to customers and reviews AR deductions detail with customers.
• Account Reconciliations and adjustments.
• Matches payments to invoices for presentment to Cash Application.
• Assists with document retrieval for audits.
• Ability to analyze and summarize multiple facts and details and the ability to draw and support sound conclusions
• Connects directly with customers and sales team for deduction resolution.
• Processes high volume deduction items
• Keeps company credit exposures within set risk bearing limit
• Identifies and implements process improvement opportunities in the deduction process and makes recommendations about procedural/policy changes
• Processes and assist with concerns for all Serta Inc National Customers
• Works under the supervision of the Deduction Supervisor and works in collaboration with other credit deduction analysts
• Able to assist the team and others with questions around deductions
• Assist with training and development as needed along with participating in special projects.
What You'll Bring:
• 2+ years credit analyst experience or 3+ years of relevant work experience
• BA/BS degree in Business Administration preferred
• Proven record of achievement in credit related positions
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred
