What You'll Do:

We're in search of a talented and forward-thinking Aesthetic Development Coordinator to join our vibrant team.

In this role, the Aesthetic Development Coordinator will work alongside our Sr Aesthetics team members to support the creation of the exterior componentry of our products, ensuring they resonate with our brand identity and strategic goals.

Working with a team of skilled designers, developers and engineers, this role involves close collaboration with various departments to develop innovative solutions that enhance our brand and contribute to our business achievements.

How You'll Do It:

•   Communication and Alignment: Work alongside the Sr Aesthetic Design Manager to communicate design and product direction and requirements to supply partners. Ensure alignment of design teams to execute projects according to assigned design language.
•   Project Management: Support Sr Aesthetic Design Manager in project management activities, including component execution, material procurement, conversion activation, and component testing. Adhere to project timelines and oversee key deliverables.
•   Data Management: Responsible for acquiring, creating, and filing component and product specification sheets. Manage data entry in internal systems.
•   Weekly Meetings: Attend weekly project meetings, take notes and provide comprehensive recaps to the broader organization regarding project progress.
•   Supplier Engagement: Support Sr Manager in communication with suppliers and ensure clear direction on project requirements and deadlines for key stakeholders.
•   Swatch Selections: Assist Senior Aesthetic Design Manager and Senior Director of Aesthetics in swatch selections and design componentry and coordinate internal reviews to enhance submissions.
•   Prototype Requests: Collaborate with internal development teams to submit build requests for full-scale prototype/design reviews.
•   Intellectual Property: Protect all intellectual property and secure exclusivity of ideation wherever possible.
•   Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as determined by the Senior Director of Aesthetic Design.

Functional/Technical Competencies

Product Development (physical products) or Sourcing experience/education preferred
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Strong organizational skills
Willingness to speak up and contribute ideas
Strong ability to drive process improvements
Ability to manage multiple project tasks and timelines
Ability to navigate complex manufacturing and development processes
Team-oriented with a collaborative work approach; initiative, flexibility, and ability to work effectively in a team setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management Software (Smartsheets, Airtable)
Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Sourcing, or equivalent education or intern/work experience required
