What You'll Do:

Serta Simmons Bedding is seeking a proactive and analytical Financial Analyst to support our Licensing and Royalty operations.

This role will play a key part in managing financial processes related to royalty income, SG&A expenses, forecasting, and reporting, while also driving process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to collaborate across teams to support strategic decision-making.

How You'll Do It:

Licensing & Royalty Financial Support

· Monitor and analyze royalty income from licensing partners.

· Ensure accurate and timely royalty reporting and compliance with contractual terms.

· Collaborate with legal and licensing teams to interpret agreements and assess financial impact.

 

Forecasting & Budgeting

· Develop and maintain financial models to support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.

· Partner with business units to gather inputs and validate assumptions.

· Track performance against forecasts and provide variance analysis.

 

 Reporting & Analysis

· Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior leadership.

· Analyze SG&A trends and provide actionable insights to improve cost efficiency.

· Support internal and external audit requests related to licensing and SG&A.

 

Process Improvement

· Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial reporting, forecasting, and royalty tracking processes.

· Leverage automation tools and best practices to reduce manual work and improve data accuracy.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial systems and workflows.

 

Ad Hoc Projects

· Lead or support special projects including scenario modeling, profitability analysis, and strategic initiatives.

· Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

What You'll Bring:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.

· 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a consumer goods or licensing environment.

· Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and variance analysis.

· Demonstrated experience in process improvement or operational efficiency projects.

· Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

· High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
