Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Manager with account-specific marketing programs to achieve Brand and Sales objectives for Serta Simmons portfolio of brands.
  • Activates programs working with 3rd party vendors and agency partners.
  • Works with internal creative and brand teams to deliver successful execution of shopper marketing program elements and to ensure that programs are in line with brand guidelines.
  • Oversees execution of retailer focused promotional activities including OMP, digital, sampling, point-of-purchase displays, signage, etc
  • Builds a holistic relationship with Brand Management, Sales and Trade Marketing as part of best in class partnership of retail strategy and marketing.
  • Manage agencies and Brand Creative in development of digital assets.  Develop creative briefs, provide feedback and route the creative for approval.  Manage the timelines and budgets.
  • Project Management with cross functional teams to ensure flawless execution of programs.
  • Assist in agency management to ensure execution of programs and completion of projects.
  • Collaborates with the Digital Center of Excellence to ensure Product Pages are optimized prior to execution of digital programs.
  • Finds and manages social media influencers as needed per retailer plans.
  • Participates in weekly internal sales meetings taking notes & ensuring all items have an owner, deliverables and a due date.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing experts to bring innovative ways to link the in-store experience with the on-line shopping experience as well as elevating conversion online.
  • Identify and vet emerging technologies and innovations in shopper marketing with particular emphasis on targeted, experiential and digital aspects.

Experience/Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business
  • 5-7 years’ experience in shopper marketing, channel, promotion, brand management and marketing of consumer goods, internal or agency. Experience in working directly with retailers is desirable. Experience in higher priced durables a plus
  • Proven success working cross-functionally.
  • Experience partnering with retailers and agency partners to build marketing programs to drive growth. Preferred but not required experience dealing with Sam’s Club, Costco, Walmart, Target, Big Lots, Home Depot and Lowes.
  • Must be agile thinker and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity. Successful candidates will be able to navigate work independently.
