Job Summary:
The SSB Performance Marketing Manager is a results-oriented and analytical role responsible for driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth through the development and execution of performance marketing strategies across various digital channels.
As the Performance Marketing Manager, you will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid marketing channels with a strong focus on new customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will also closely analyze paid media performance, looking at traffic, ROAS, AOV and CVR KPIs. You’ll lead digital campaigns across paid search/shopping, paid social, programmatic, and affiliate channels—continually testing, learning, and iterating to improve performance. You’ll work collaboratively across the ecommerce, finance, brand, and creative teams to ensure strategic alignment and maximize impact.
You’ll also be responsible for guiding agency partners to consistently produce high-performing, innovative work—motivating them to think creatively, push performance forward, and deliver business results.

We're seeking a data-driven Performance Marketing Manager to scale our customer acquisition efforts and drive the next chapter of our growth in a nimble, fast-paced environment where ideas are quickly tested, and wins are celebrated.
What You'll Do:
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and lead a performance marketing strategy to drive profitable new customer growth across Serta and Tuft & Needle.
- Build forecasts, budgets, and KPI targets focused on ROAS, AOV, and Conversion Rate.
- Partner closely with ecommerce, finance, brand, and creative teams to align on business objectives and campaign execution.
Channel Management
- Oversee the strategic and operational management of digital marketing performance.
- Develop and manage digital prospecting and remarketing campaigns.
- Own execution and optimization across all paid media channels, including Google Ads, Meta, programmatic/display, and affiliate.
- Identify and test new channels and audience segments for incremental customer growth.
- Develop and execute structured A/B testing plans across creative, targeting, bidding, and landing pages.
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor and analyze performance by cohort, channel, and campaign to drive improvements in revenue and audience growth.
- Manage and optimize full-funnel metrics to reduce acquisition costs and improve customer value over time.
- Leverage tools like GA4, Feedonomics, and third-party analytics platforms.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s ad-tech strategy
- Serve as the subject matter expert for ad tech and audience management practice that will help define how we source, build, and distribute audience data and behavioral signals across channels to deliver tailored marketing experiences to consumers.
What You'll Do Cont'd:
Agency & Vendor Management
- Guide agency partners to produce high-quality, performance-driven campaigns.
- Motivate agencies to continuously innovate, experiment, and find new ways to grow the business.
- Hold external partners accountable for hitting KPIs while fostering a collaborative, results-oriented relationship.
- Stay up-to-date on platform and industry trends through agency partnerships and platform reps.
Team Collaboration & Cross-Functionality
- Partner with cross functional stakeholders in eCommerce, Finance, Creative, and Site Ops to ensure that DTC media plans are mutually understood and ensure that these stakeholders understand implications and dependencies for flawless execution.
- Potentially mentor junior marketers or performance analysts as the team grows.
Reporting
- Build and present weekly and monthly performance reports for marketing leadership.
- Translate campaign performance into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
How You'll Do It:
- Own execution and optimization across all paid media channels, including Google Ads, Meta, programmatic/display, and affiliate.

What You'll Bring:
- 5-10 years of experience working in performance marketing
- Understanding of various digital marketing channels like Google Ads (PPC, Shopping, PMAX), Meta, Affiliate Marketing/Impact, Display.
- Experience with affiliate and influencer-led performance campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and DSPs.
- Working cross functionally with Organic Social, SEO, and Email/SMS a plus.
- Experience with affiliate and influencer-led performance campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Google Analytics, Shopify, Tableau or like dashboard, MTA and MMM.
- Demonstrated success in scaling growth through performance marketing.
- Communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills for collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and adaptable mindset.
- Bachelor's Degree; relevant industry credentials or certifications.
Additional Requirements:
- Proven track record of managing media budgets and optimizing campaign performance.
- Experience with affiliate marketing and vendor management.
- Familiarity with billing and invoice tracking processes.
