Position Overview

 

The Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing projects that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation across DTC channels — including eCommerce, digital marketing, CRM, fulfillment, and customer experience. This role ensures the seamless coordination of cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations, IT, and logistics) to deliver high-impact initiatives that optimize the end-to-end consumer journey.

 

The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital commerce, marketing operations, and project management, with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational excellence.

 

This position is based in Atlanta, GA, and strong preference will be given to candidates currently residing in the Atlanta area. Relocation assistance is not available.

 

This is a Hybrid position.  You will be able to work from home on Monday and Friday, with in office days Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.

 

What You'll Do:

 

Project Management & Execution

  • Lead cross-functional projects across eCommerce, CRM, digital marketing, and customer experience initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring milestones are met on schedule and within scope.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery of DTC initiatives.
  • Manage project risk, dependencies, and change control processes.
  • Track KPIs and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.

 

Digital Commerce & Channel Management

  • Oversee enhancements and optimization of the DTC website and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing teams to ensure campaigns align with product launches, promotions, and brand goals.
  • Support implementation of personalization, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and A/B testing strategies.
  • Partner with operations and logistics teams to streamline fulfillment, returns, and customer support workflows.

 

Technology & Integration

  • Work with IT and MarTech teams to manage integrations between eCommerce, ERP, CRM, and analytics systems.
  • Support technology upgrades and platform migrations (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
  • Drive adoption of tools that enhance the DTC experience, such as customer data platforms, marketing automation, and loyalty programs.

 

Consumer Insights & Performance

  • Collaborate with analytics teams to monitor performance across channels — traffic, conversion, retention, and revenue.
  • Identify insights and opportunities to enhance customer acquisition, engagement, and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Support test-and-learn initiatives to continuously improve the DTC business.

 

Stakeholder Communication & Leadership

  • Act as the central point of contact for DTC projects, aligning priorities across marketing, eCommerce, and operations.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and recommendations to executives and stakeholders.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset and data-driven decision-making across teams.

 

What You'll Bring:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or a related field.
  • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification preferred.

 

Experience:

  • 4–8+ years of experience in project management, ideally within a DTC, eCommerce, or retail environment.
  • Proven success leading digital commerce or marketing technology projects end-to-end.
  • Strong understanding of DTC operations including fulfillment, CRM, UX/UI, and analytics.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, CRM, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Adobe Analytics).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and vendor relationships.

Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
