What You'll Do

The Senior Manager of Sales Finance will be the main point of contact with our Sales group for two of our largest retail channels, engaging with the team on a weekly basis.

This person will coordinate and support specific business initiatives , provide financial reporting, data driven analysis and insights  to improve decision-making to grow retailer sales and profit. 

How You'll Do It


We're seeking a professional who will: 


  • Lead channel specific annual budgeting process for sales, units, and dealer expenses
  • Thoroughly understand the retail channels and competitive landscape and turn ideas into action on how to best grow the business now and in the future
  • Assess portfolio, identify opportunities, and recommend actions to deliver increased value through, but not limited to, cost savings efforts, merchandising, pricing, promotion, assortment, distribution and mix to grow sales and profit
  • Facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of channel financial performance
    • Analyze channel performance variances vs. budget/forecast and underlying business trends  
    • Prepare timely and insightful commentary on channel financial performance
    • Partner with key stakeholders to understand channel results and recommend actions to improve performance
  • Own analysis of channel specific subsidy expenses to drive SSB ROI investment and cost savings opportunities
  • Lead pricing, promotions, and deal analysis, explanations, and presentations to key stakeholders to improve results and ensure sufficient ROI
  • Lead post-event analysis on promotions and pricing to help drive improved sales performance and profitability
  • Create standard and ad hoc reports to effectively communicate retailer business performance
  • Build financial models to improve business understanding and decision making
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and reporting as directed by Management.
  • Assist Sales and Finance management with strategic planning, Board, and Executive meeting preparations
  • Collaborate with accounting to ensure financial reporting integrity


What You'll Bring

  • 4-5 years of relevant financial experience including direct support of a business partner
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or area with an analytical focus, MBA preferred
  • Experience with financial analysis and modeling, Sales analysis or Sales operations experience preferred
  • Understanding of a P&L statement
  • Experience with consumer products a plus
  • Proficient in Hyperion Planning, MS Office, Power BI, and ERP applications
