What You'll Do:
We’re in search of a Visual Designer to join our in-house creative team. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative designer with an eye for visual details and the ability to ideate, iterate and execute a range of projects. The Visual Designer concepts and delivers strategic design solutions that help shape the aesthetic of brands. You bring experience delivering world-class concepts across a wide range of disciplines: campaign development, brand identity, and website design. The Visual Designer brings a passion for brand consistency and graphic design. They will help drive the development of our brands by ensuring that creative briefs are fully explored with new ideas and delivered to the highest standards. This role reports to the Art Director and will work closely with an all-star team of copywriters, other designers, and business partners across marketing, e-commerce and new product development.
An average day would consist of working alongside two other Visual Designers to develop national product launch campaigns, quarterly promotions, and other various projects—ultimately presenting them to the Senior Director of Operations + Creative and Brand Marketing Partners for alignment and execution.
• Develop, evolve, and maintain visual brand guidelines, style guides and design templatization.
• Solve for business, customer, and stakeholder requirements while building creative that is unique, stunning, and effective.
• Grow brand awareness and revenue by collaboratively developing concepts and execute exceptional, engaging omni channel marketing campaigns, thinking across channels to create tailored content.
• Operate with a customer-first mindset and use data and research to inform design decisions that generate increasingly effective campaigns and brand experiences.
• Help identify and build new ways to enable the team to scale and optimize quality for recurring projects – through mechanisms like design guidelines, tools, templates and processes.
• Work collaboratively across disciplines and multiple departments to ensure on-strategy and on-brand design execution.
• Deliver clear vision for projects to key leadership before presenting to the broader organization.
• Stay aware of the latest trends in design, advertising, and the home category.
What You'll Bring:
- Atlanta-based.
- A BFA or BA in graphic design or similar.
- 2-5(+) years related experience in design.
- Proficient in the latest design software including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (ability to create assets with light motion preferred).
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional branding, campaign, and visual story-telling skills across multiple media channels; website, display, social, email, retail, video, print, etc.
- You champion a creative problem-solving approach to all projects large or small.
- Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
- You prefer a detailed brief but are resourceful enough to work without one if required.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organization and present comfortably to leadership.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritization skills; can be highly productive with limited direction and sometimes ambiguous challenges.
- E-commerce experience preferred.

Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
