Shift Info:

 

This will be a 10am - 6:30pm shift with overtime as needed. 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Provide technical quality support for multi-shift, high volume production facility.  Support building a customer focused quality culture through data collection, process monitoring, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.   
  • Foster a safety culture and the implementation of safety policies and training in compliance with the company safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work related injuries. 
  • Quality Auditing: Quality Management System; Product Audits /Process Audits; facilitate Corrective Actions 
  • Manage and develop RCA/Implement Corrective Actions/escalate as applicable 
  • Maintain Plant Quality metrics and Dashboard and participate in Plant Quality Reviews 
  • Assure Manufacturing Quality; monitor and review Error Proofing Controls at every level, Assist RCA and implement Corrective Actions and gauge control (calibration, specify, acquire). 
  • Data collection/analysis/improvement projects (Green Belt level projects) 
  • Assist with the control/monitoring/changes to the Manufacturing Execution System to achieve effective Quality controls/monitoring and improvement 
  • Assist with training the plant associates in the QMS and TQM principles 
  • Report Supplier Quality issues
  • Advanced Quality Planning, Plant trials/reports/improvements 
  • Support the overall continual improvement of quality effort for the site to drive increasing quality performance with the customer. 
  • Participate and support SSB corporate quality initiatives

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Three or more years relevant experience in manufacturing and one in a Quality role 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) 
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English 
  • Must be at least 18 years or older 
  • Certified or be working towards Six Sigma Green Belt 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) 
  • Preferred: 
  • Associates degree in Manufacturing, Quality, Statistics, Engineering, Business or other 
  • Lean training / certification 
  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt 
  • Minitab software or equivalent 
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet or database software preferred.  
  • Previous experience training and/or leading others desired. 

Compensation:

 

$22/HR - $24/HR

The hiring salary range for this position applies to where legally required, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
