What You'll Do:
Serta Simmons Bedding is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Monroe, OH manufacturing facility.
This role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, leading hourly associates, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently met.
The Production Supervisor will manage shift operations, support production schedules, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

How You'll Do It:

Lead cell/department operations to ensure safe, timely, high-quality production within budget

Drive and support change initiatives while serving as a liaison between associates and management

Identify and resolve daily production issues to meet schedules and prevent recurrence

Establish and maintain standardized work and Leader Standard Work

Conduct audits and lead daily cell meetings to set expectations and monitor performance

Monitor production flow, remove bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions

Develop and coach associates to build skills and bench strength

Review schedules, estimate labor needs, and delegate work assignments

Recommend and implement improvements to processes, equipment, quality, and safety
What You'll Bring:
-
3–5 years of related experience in a lean manufacturing environment, including supervisory experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including conflict resolution
-
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire associates
-
Proven root cause analysis, problem identification, and resolution skills
-
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, or the ability to learn and apply them
-
Ability to travel up to 10%
