What You'll Do:
The Production Manager provides hands-on leadership for manufacturing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
This role is accountable for safety, quality, and delivery performance while developing team capability, driving engagement, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
How You'll Do It:

Lead manufacturing production to ensure high-quality products are produced safely, on time, and within budget.

Drive continuous improvement through Lean methodologies to enhance performance, safety, and quality.

Ensure the safety of all operators and individuals within the assigned work area.

Maintain responsibility for product quality by adhering to established processes and methods.

Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Quality Engineering (QE), and KPO to ensure product quality standards are met or exceeded.

Deliver exceptional operational performance, including:

On-time delivery greater than 99.5%
-
Efficiency greater than 95%
by leading work teams and support personnel through effective problem-solving, communication, and coordination with supply chain partners.

Conduct daily production meetings and set clear expectations for the day’s operations.

Coordinate with office staff to provide accurate updates on production schedules and product status.

Maintain daily management data and prepare reports as required.

Ensure cost-effective production by controlling raw material usage, minimizing waste, and optimizing labor utilization to reduce downtime and unnecessary overtime.

Implement and sustain Lean processes, problem-solving techniques, Kaizen initiatives, and other quality programs in partnership with support teams.

Escalate unresolved issues promptly to protect performance, quality, and safety standards.

Lead, coach, and motivate work teams by developing their skills, fostering engagement, and driving a high-performance culture.

Meet training and development objectives for all team members within scope of responsibility.
What You'll Bring:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a technical discipline (4-year degree), and
-
3–5 years of leadership experience in a high-mix, complex manufacturing environment

OR
-
Associate’s degree with an engineering or technical focus (2-year degree), and
-
5–15 years of leadership experience with demonstrated career progression
-
OR
-
Heavy manufacturing or supervisory experience (non-degreed candidates), and
-
15+ years of leadership experience

Job Factors/Work Environments
| Work is active in nature, with frequent walking of manufacturing plant, warehouse and distribution. High degree of risk management in terms of safety around large and complex machinery, as well as heavy (up to 200lb) product while in production. Up to 10% travel. |

The hiring salary range for this position applies to where legally required, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
